Do you feel that life is harder than it should be?

Is your anxiety or low mood getting in the way of you becoming the person you want to be or from realising your potential?

Does the prospect of finding the right therapist overwhelm you?

We can help!

Therapy is an investment of your time and money but ultimately it is an investment in yourself. Good mental health is a fundamental part of your wellbeing and it can make a huge difference in your ability to enjoy your life.

We understand that finding the right therapist can be really hard. As clinicians we know that there is a lot to consider. We know how important it is for you to find someone who you can trust, someone who is adequately trained, and has the skills and experience to help you. Overcoming problems is hard enough as it is and we know that without confidence in your therapist, therapy is less likely to give you the outcome you are looking for.

At the Psychological Therapy Centre all of our therapists are vetted to make sure that they have the right skills, experience and qualifications to help you to get the most out of your investment.

What can I expect?

When you contact us, you will be screened by one of our highly experienced Clinical Leads, Nicola Rhodes, Senior Psychotherapist or Dr Christina Palmer, Senior Clinical Psychologist and your needs will be assessed and a recommendation for assessment or treatment will be made. This will take into account our clinical expertise, the most recent research around the effectiveness of therapies for various problems and your preferences. This allows us to match you with the therapist or psychologist, whose expertise best match your individual needs.
